Streaking Red Transit Trails Past Classical Porticos and Curved Glass
london · city of london · red bus · light streaks
A long-exposure urban documentary photograph captured at the Bank junction in the City of London at dusk. Iconic double-decker buses streak across the intersection, their continuous red trajectories generating solid luminous walls that bend dynamically past the classical Corinthian portico of the Royal Exchange and toward the swooping glass facade of nearby modern office towers. Pedestrians on the sidewalks appear as subtle translucent motion blurs, reinforcing the rapid rhythm of evening commuter rush. Captured with a tripod-mounted camera using a 28mm lens at f/13 and a two-second exposure time, highlighting crisp stonework masonry alongside fluid light ribbons. The rich color interplay between historic limestone amber and modern LED teal fills the 3:2 landscape canvas.
