A close portrait of an African elephant is drawn in charcoal on warm ivory paper, with the head and upper trunk filling a 3:4 portrait composition. Design the image as an editorial cover or art print, leaving a softly worked area above the forehead for optional cover typography without adding text. Use broad charcoal masses to establish the ears, then precise compressed-charcoal lines for wrinkles around the eye and trunk. Lift highlights with an eraser to suggest dry skin catching side light. Let the lower trunk dissolve into loose marks and visible paper grain. Keep the expression calm and dignified, the anatomy convincing, and the surrounding background minimal rather than heavily shaded.

A tactile soft pastel artwork on dark-toned charcoal paper depicting a wild meadow bathed in late evening light. Vibrant powdery marks capture luminous yellow evening primrose, wild white chamomile, deep purple meadow cranesbill, and airy panicles of flowering grass. The artist's hand has blended rich smudges of burnt sienna, dusty rose, and royal plum in the background sky, leaving crisp, unsmudged pastel strokes to define the sharp foreground flower petals and seedheads. Flecks of colored dust and the coarse tooth of the paper are visible, lending organic warmth and an intimate, handcrafted atmosphere to the scene.
