Night over the Himalayan foothills. The rear cargo ramp of a C-130 is open, wind howling. A modified 1971 Land Rover Series II with a trailer rolls out the back and falls into the dark sky. Three bright orange parachutes instantly deploy from the trailer, jerking the vehicle upright. A massive folding wing bursts from the roof racks and locks into place, turning the Land Rover into a crude glider.
